Rome-Unique is an online Holiday rental website that offers only properties that are managed or owned directly by us.
Having found your apartment, click on the ‘Book now’ button and proceed to our secure booking and payment pages. The first is for your booking, personal and payment details. After acceptance of the terms and conditions of the apartment provider, you can then check and confirm your booking at the second page. After making a successful online prepayment by credit card, a booking confirmation and the terms and conditions of the apartment provider will be sent by e-mail.
During the booking process you make a prepayment with your credit card. This guarantees your booking. The prepayment amount is a percentage of the total costs as down payment on behalf of the apartment provider (percentage varies per provider and can be checked in their terms and conditions). The balance due can then be paid prior to or on arrival in Rome.
Yes, you can contact Rome-Unique and arrange to pay the balance payment before your arrival. End clean and city tax and the damage deposit always need to pay paid on arrival.
Rome-Unique accepts Mastercard, Visa, Amex.
Yes, you can. If you require to pay via PayPal or bank transfer we are able to block the apartment for a short period of time (24 hours) awaiting the payment confirmation of the alternative payment method.

You can cancel your booking by contacting us. In every case the online prepayment is non-refundable. Extra cancellation fees can apply depending on the period of notice for cancellation given and the terms and conditions specified by Rome-Unique regarding cancellation policy and fees. In each case we will assist you through this process without any additional fees.
This is what we call a ‘no show’. The full balance will be charged. In case your credit card can not be charged you are still obliged to provide us with the balance payment.
We offer a free personal check in from 14.00 until 21.00, but only by appointment. Between 21.00 and 00.00 (midnight) there is a check in fee of euro 40,-. After midnight check in is only possible after having consulted Rome-Unique and the check in fee is Euro 60,-.
Our standard check out time is 10.00 AM in the morning. In case you have to leave very early, you should arrange the check out with our operations manager.
Late check out is only possible after having consulted with our customer service or directly with our operations manager that will check you in. For a late check out until 16.00 we charge 30% of the nightly rate with a minimum of euro 50,-. If we can help you with storing your luggage we will do so. Your personal operations manager will try to assist you if possible.
No, we offer self-catering apartments. On request we can arrange a private cook for you.
Rome-Unique can offer the following additional services (add-ons): car service from and to the airport. This is bookable on our website. We can offer private or small group tours. We can offer a private cook (availability on request). For more info please contact our customer service.
For children under 2 years old there are no fees, unless a baby cot is required. Children are considered and counted as adults if above 2 years old. A baby cot has a one time fee of Euro 40,- valid for your entire stay. In no circumstance the apartment can host more people than what it is published by.
No, under no circumstance parties are allowed. All our apartments are part of so called ‘condominio’ and we have to respect the house rules. No additional people can be invited into the apartment or on the terrace. If the apartment has a balcony or terrace it is imperative that there can be no noise after 22.00. Rome-Unique has the right to withhold the security deposit if the house rules are breached.
We strongly recommend not to come to the center of Rome by car. The center is blocked for all cars without a permit. If you do come by car it is wise to park outside the city center in a garage and get to the apartment by public transport.
